Dear Students, Parents & Grandparents:
The members of the Memorial Endowment Committee of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church would like to make parents, grandparents and students aware of grant/scholarship opportunities available through the Church’s Endowment Funds.
To be eligible to receive a grant/scholarship, the student must be planning to attend a Lutheran or Christian College.
The following grants/scholarships are available:
1. An annual grant/scholarship of up to $2,500 for a student who has been accepted and is enrolled with a full course load at a Lutheran college.
2. An annual grant/scholarship of up to $2,500 for a student who has been accepted for graduate student studies and is enrolled in the Lutheran Ministry.
3. An annual grant/scholarship of up to $1,000 for a student who has been accepted and is enrolled in a Christian College other than a Lutheran college.
Grant/scholarship recipients are limited to 1 grant/scholarship per school year for a maximum total of four (4) years.
Applications are required to be submitted annually.
Applications are due by June 1 of the year the student enrolls in a Lutheran or Christian college.
Applications may be obtained at St. Mark’s office or by contacting one of the committee members.
