New Church Logo

Over the years St. Marks Church has been fortunate to have a number of talented artists in the congregation help with the design of various logos for the church that you may recognize. The marketing team of the Strategic Plan Committee has been working with a professional marketing specialist and a graphic designer to take all those different images that have represented the church over the years and create a logo, consistent message and coherent modern image that might appeal to the unchurched 20-40 year old with families in our community. We are hoping to come up with one consistant design for all our communication tools, street signs, Sunday bulletin, event announcements and Marksman. The team has adopted a new byline or rallying cry for our materials: Celebrating God’s Love Through Service! This line will be used when answering the church phone and on all communications with the logo to communicate what makes us unique from other churches or faith based organizations.

Guarantee: Your input will be seriously considered in the final logo design.

Limitation: Input is being gathered from many different people, both within and outside of the congregation.  Therefore, it is impossible for each person’s input to be automatically placed in the final logo design exactly as desired.

Before proceeding with your response to the logo concept designs, please join us in prayer:
Dear Lord, we humbly ask your blessing on our Strategic Plan 2020. Through this planning process, we pray you will bind the people of St. Mark’s together in unity of purpose and goals. We pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit to help us find and follow the will of God, regardless of where that leads us. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
