At St. Mark’s there are many ways that you can share your blessings: Give your time and talent in service to others, set up an automatic donation with your bank and contribute painlessly through Thrivent Choice or send a check.

Venmo

Designated Giving

If you want to give to a designated account please fill out this form and pay by paypal, credit or debit card.

Checks
Make your check out to St. Mark’s Church and mail it to 580 Hilltop Drive, Chula Vista, CA 91910. If you have an envelope number please write it in the memo section of your check.

Automatic Giving
Just as you set up auto payments with SDG&E or the water company, you can easily set up an automatic weekly gift. There are several reasons why this helps St. Marks:

1. It makes it easy to give faithfully  – Set up a automatic recurring gift to make a commitment to giving consistently, or to fulfill your pledge.
2. It helps St. Marks plan and budget well – When you give a recurring gift, it’s easier for the church council to plan and steward your gifts in ministry.
3. It’s convenient – Give anytime, anywhere, even when you’re not at service or you’re out of town. Don’t worry about forgetting to bring your checkbook or being distracted during service.
4. Track your giving – Login to your bank or PayPal at anytime to view your past donations and edit recurring gifts.
5. Give on any internet-connected device – It’s easy to give via your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

If you pay through your bank then there are no charges to St. Marks.

Through Your Bank Account
Here are the easy steps:
*Log into your bank account. Look for a “Payments & Transfers” tab
*Click the “make a transfer” link
*Call the church office to get the routing number and the account number to transfer to.
*pick a weekly or monthly amount to transfer.
*click submit

Thrivent Choice Program
If you are a member of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans you have an easy way to help support St. Marks. Through Thrivent Choice SM, a charitable grant program, you can help choose where Thrivent Financial distributes some of its charitable funds each year.

By directing Choice Dollars, they can request funding for thousands of Lutheran Organizations such as universities, congregations, schools and camps. Choice Dollars amounts that can be directed range from $25 to $500 for each eligible member.

Through Voting Events, all members age 16 and older can vote to help choose where Thrivent Financial distributes funds among a short list of national organizations. Voting Events occur one or two times each year. You are eligible to direct Choice Dollars if you meet one or more of the following:

• Have $800 or more in annual premiums of qualifying insurance products.
• Have $20,000 or more in contract value on qualifying products.
• Hold a qualifying Thrivent Financial volunteer leadership position.
