Chula Vista Art Guild

The Chula Vista Art Guild was founded in 1945 by one of the great “California Impressionists”,  Alfred R. Mitchell along with several of his Chula Vista students.  Over the years the Guild has evolved into a versatile group of artists that work in many painting media and styles.  The organization hosts a number of events each year including art education classes, social gatherings, a members spring exhibition, and an annual Fall competition open to all San Diego County artists.
